The City of Lindale’s 10th Annual Piney Woods Wine Festival is set to take place Friday, May 8th – Saturday, May 9th.
The annual event features wine tastings by the wineries on the Piney Woods Wine Trail – which features more than 20 East Texas wineries. The two-day event will feature national award-winning wines, live music, and a variety of food. Saturday will feature arts and crafts vendors for the wine enthusiasts.
The festival is taking place at Picker’s Pavilion in Lindale.
This event is free to attend, however a wristband ($10.00) is required per day to enter the wine garden. Tastings are not included in the $10 entry fee. If you plan on tasting wine, each tasting will cost $1 and a glass of wine will range from $5 to $8 depending on the individual winery. You will also be able to purchase bottles of wine from each winery as well.
Each wristband comes with a wine glass and a six-bottle wine tote – but it does not come with free tastings or free glasses.
Pickers Pavilion is located at 205 Cannery Row (East North Street) in Lindale.
The festival will take place from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday, May 8th and from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 9th.
