Football season is approaching, and the Longview Orthopedic Clinic is dedicated to keeping athletes safe week after week.
So starting Saturday, August 29th, they will host a free sports injury clinic every Saturday until the 5A/6A football season ends.
- When: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- Where: Longview and Marshall
Orthopedic surgeons will be at the clinics to assess and treat athletes’ injuries and determine the best course of action to get the best outcome.
The clinic is free for student-athletes of all ages (little league through college).
“I will be staffing [the clinic] every day that I can,” said Dr. Joshua Russell, Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon. “I want to get to know you, want to get to know this community, and be a part of your treatment in getting better.”

The Longview Orthopedic Clinic is located at 323 E. Hawkins Parkway Ste. A in Longview.
The Marshall clinic is located at 1806 East End Blvd. North.
