The Rancher’s Market is a family-owned business bridging the gap between local ranchers and you, the consumer.
“We have all different kinds of beef, chicken,” said Owner Caitlyn Lawrence. “Right now we have bison and pork. And we’re working on getting lamb.”
We believe in helping local ranchers, creating a future in agriculture, and providing the best quality products in East Texas. We cut out the middle man, and that allows our local people to grow in doing what they love, whether that is raising cattle or making handmade goods. It also allows the freshest meat to be on your table daily.
So how does it work?
“We have a ton of beef supplies here in East Texas,” said Lawrence. “And by allowing a place for those producers to put their stuff we’re able to support our local agricultural industry and keep it going. Instead of buying it from across the country, or wherever it would come from, you know exactly where it’s coming from. And the quality is much better, it tastes much better and it’s better for you.”
Because Lawrence deals directly with the ranchers, The Rancher’s Market is the only stop between the locally-raised meat and your plate. And, you’re able to find a variety of meat selection you wouldn’t normally find in other stores.
“Here we get the entire animal so we get a wide variety [of cuts,]” said Lawrence. “So if you come in and you want to see what the difference between the grass-fed and grain -fed is, we can definitely pull out whatever cuts of meat you want to see and you can see the difference. So we’re, we’re all about helping and educating, and we want you to be happy with what you purchased.”

How will you know what’s in stock?
“As far as our meat selections go, it’s always changing depending on [what ranchers] have at the time,” said Lawrence. “And you can find all of that information on our website of what’s in stock. Or you can follow us on Facebook. I’m always updating because it all depends on local availability.”

“Meat is our big thing here,” said Lawrence. “But we also want to support other local businesses as well.”
