SHREVEPORT, La. (Ark-La-Tex Weekend) - Subway went and changed their menu and dropped twelve new sandwiches to their menu. Known as the Subway Series, the list of sandwiches cover the range from a Philly Cheesesteak to the Great Garlic Chicken sandwich. You don’t have to remember the name anymore. Each sandwich has its own number now. The subs have been divided up into four groups.
- Cheesesteaks: #1 The Philly, #2 The Outlaw™, #3 The Monster™
- Italianos: #4 Supreme Meats, #5 Bella Mozza, #6 The Boss
- Chicken: #7 The MexiCali, #8 The Great Garlic™, #9 The Champ™
- Clubs: #10 All-American Club®, #11 Subway Club®, #12 Turkey Cali Club™
Your favorites might have changed a little. For example, the Meatball Marinara sub is upgraded to The Boss (or #6). The only difference is now sandwich makers add slices of pepperoni. So it’s not a total rework of the menu, just some tweaks. Of course you can still build your own sub (the original menu) if none of the new selections meet your fancy.
How about a free six inch sub? From their press release, “On July 12 (2022) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time, up to one million free 6-inch Subway Series subs will be offered across the nation. Guests have the opportunity to visit a participating Subway location during this timeframe and pick one free sandwich from the 12 new Subway Series sandwiches.”
