There comes a time where everyone wants to sit back, relax, and get away from the troubles that may be going on. There’s a way to relax in College Station for adults who need time away from the kids, away from work, and to enjoy the good vibes.

The Cove at BearX is an adults-only water park that’s perfect for a day-cation for adults of all ages to relax and vibe the day away in the water.

“We’re not trying to be this super exclusive or super high end place that tells you you have to spend $5,000 dollars or you can’t come in,” said Owner and CEO Heath Phillips. “We don’t want you to spend $5,000 dollars, because you’re going to be too intoxicated to remember your time.”

To get in you will need a membership for the 2023 season, where you can then enjoy access to the public seating areas, float around the lazy river (which includes the swim up bar), yard games to play, and access to the restaurants and bars inside the establishment. For those that enjoy a more private spot to vibe in, you can make reservations in their Bungalows (which includes entry for 15 people), the cabanas, and their aqua couches, which all include a VIP server and extra amenities. These spaces give you a guaranteed place to sit and store your things away safely.

“We coupled our residential real estate development with The Cove so the residents get free access into the venue,” said Phillips. “Everybody else outside of this neighborhood can pay a day fee and they get access as well, so it’s really become that place for adults of all ages.”

If you’ve never surfed, you don’t have to go all the way to the beach to start trying it out. The Cove also has a ProFlow Surf in the center where you can reserve some time to surf or sign up for their Good Vibe Rides where you can learn how to surf and get practice with a coach.

During the earlier hours of the day, there is Camp Surf, a way for kids to also learn how to surf before The Cove is open for the adults to come play. For non-members, Good Vibe Rides are still available to try out the surf machine.
