It’s almost time to celebrate with some German food and drink while music plays at the annual Kilgore Oktoberfest!
This family friendly event is absolutely FREE and coming to you Saturday, October 15th, from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM. You can enjoy the sights, sounds, and flavors of German culture with competitions, live music, food trucks, vendors, and keg tapping, all in Historic Downtown Kilgore.
Everyone is welcome, and bring your Dirndl and Lederhosen to try and win the Best Dressed competition, test your strength with the beer stein holding contest, and the kids can enjoy an onsite carnival going on that Saturday night as well as Friday, October 14th, from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Arm bands are $25 or you can purchase tickets at $1 a piece.
For our furry friends, there is Dogtoberfest! You can dress your dog in their finest Oktoberfest attire for their own costume contest, or have them race in the dog race! The Dog Race will take place from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
