Halloween Face Painting: Paint your own Frankenstein’s Monster

Halloween Face-Painting: Frankenstein's Monster Makeup artist Emily Gora shows us how to paint our face like we're Frankenstein's Monster with simple household makeup tools.

Just in time for the Halloween season, Makeup Artist Emily Gora came to the studio to give you ideas on ways to paint you, or your little ones, faces using cheap makeup you already have at home or could get from the drugstore, such as brown and black eyeliner.

In this video, you will learn how to create a “Frankenstein’s Monster” face, that has wiggle room for other uses as well, anything that may need a stitched up look would work with this.

  • 2:00 - Adding color to the line to help flesh it out, starting with a white base and adding your color on top
  • 3:48 - Make your circles for holes
  • 4:53 - Add the connecting stitches to the holes
  • 6:00 - Add dimension by using white on the stitches
  • 7:15 - Use brown to add shape to the holes for realism
  • 8:40 - Darken the initial line and touchup the color
