You don’t have to wear red to be Santa this year

Join in on the Blue Santa Pub Crawl to support local children this Christmas

Santa Claus can wait his turn, the Blue Santas are coming out this December with the 2022 Blue Santa Pub Crawl! 100% of the proceeds go to local Tyler children, giving you the opportunity to make Christmas extra special for a child – plus having fun in the process.

This year’s event will take place Saturday, December 3rd, 4-8pm in Downtown Tyler.

With your ticket, you can “become a Santa” by pub crawling around downtown Tyler to different businesses and picking up costume pieces. Each participating location will offer a different piece of the costume. Santa beards at one location, blue Santa hats at another, glittery gloves, t-shirts, flashy necklaces, etc. All of which will all be available for you to create a truly memorable Santa costume.

Check-in locations to get your costume pieces are:

  • ETX Brewing
  • SportsZone
  • Bricks Bar
  • Culture ETX
  • Andy’s Custard, Downtown
  • Visit Tyler
  • True Vine Brewery on the Square

After you’ve gone to all the locations and gotten all your pieces to the costume, you will have everything you need to “become a Blue Santa!” There is no schedule – just wander around and visit all the businesses in any order. There will be a group photo at 8pm with all the Blue Santas dressed in all their bling!

Check-in starts at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 3rd at ETX Brewing, with The Pub Crawl taking place 4:00-8:00 PM.

As well as participating in the Crawl you can help put this event on by becoming a sponsor. Learn how to be a sponsor by clicking here.

The 2022 Blue Santa Pub Crawl benefits the children of the Tyler Police’s East Texas Regional Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #51 (ETFO Police). The Blue Santa program is a non-profit outreach program that focuses on giving gift cards to needy children during the holidays. Each year, ETFO Police provides children who might not have Christmas with gift cards to Walmart.

These children live in Tyler and are hand-selected by police officers from the City of Tyler Police Force. The children are taken to Walmart where they are given a $100 gift card and sent shopping.
