Stay active with these activities at the Glass Recreation Center this March

As spring approaches, it’s time to get moving and have some fun at the Glass Recreation Center! This March, the center is hosting a variety of events and activities that will help you stay healthy and have fun.

Step Aerobics

Step aerobics is a great way to get your heart rate up and break a sweat while having fun. Join the classes every Monday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m., and fees are $20 per month or $5 per session. Please note that you must be at least 17 years of age to participate.


Looking for a fun and social way to stay active? Give pickleball a try! The game is a mix of tennis, badminton, and ping pong and is easy to learn. Open play times are held every Monday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and every Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee for this is $5 per day or free with a $30 annual membership.


If you’re looking for a fun and energetic way to stay active, join in on some volleyball! Open play times are every Wednesday from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The fee for this is $5 per day or free with a $30 annual membership.

Spring Break Camp

Now for the young ones, the Glass Recreation Center will be offering a Spring Break Camp for kids ages 6 to 12. The camp will take place from March 13 through 17 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost of the camp is $50 per youth. Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Silver Sneakers

Are you 65 years old or above and looking for a fun and free way to stay active? Check out the Silver Sneakers program at Glass Recreation Center! The program offers a free membership to anyone 65 and better. Silver Sneakers is a nationwide fitness program that has partnerships with Medicare Insurance providers.
