Kick off your summer with the 33rd annual Texas Blueberry Festival

Kick off your summer with the 33rd annual Texas Blueberry Festival, happening June 10 from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM in Nacogdoches. This free festival offers exciting experiences, inspired by the blueberry, for the whole family to enjoy!

“The Texas Blueberry Festival is a big blue mix of events. It offers exciting experiences that dazzle returning festival guests and first timers, too,” said Chair Grace Handler. “My planning committee works year-round to make sure every festival is the best it can be, and this year’s blueberry fest will be a true-blue blast!”

You can start the day with the Blueberry Pancake Breakfast, where US Congressman Pete Sessions plans to join the Nacogdoches Kiwanis Club as a pancake flippin’ volunteer. “Every year, I look forward to blueberries and other delicious treats that come with spring and summer,” said Congressman Sessions. “I am happy to take part in the Texas Blueberry Festival, a prominent event in the 17th Congressional District of Texas. The food and activities are an outstanding opportunity to have fun in the oldest town in Texas.”

The presenting sponsor Tipton Ford has secured a Bronco simulator for the day, and the new attraction will be located near the intersection of E. Main Street and Mound Street. Happening the day before, on June 9, there will be a Blueberry Bluegrass Concert from 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM at Festival Park in downtown Nacogdoches. This will also be a free and family-friendly event to enjoy, and will feature three well-known musical acts:
