Heritage Summer Street Fest

Annual Indoor Rummage Sale

  • Where: Methodist Family Life Center, Frankston

Come rain or shine to this indoor sale where the items are clean and neatly displayed. There will be lots of treasures in the form of Christmas decorations, housewares, books, electronics, shoes, purses, jewelry, toys, and tools. Barbeque beef sandwich with chips, cookie and a drink will be available for $10, this allows you to shop without stopping. Funds raised help provide eyeglasses for children in need, teacher appreciation lunch, disaster relief and other activities.

Donut-Lympics 2023

  • When: 10:00 AM
  • Where: The Green, Longview
  • Cost: Free

Join us for our 5th annual National Donut Day Celebration!

Donut-Lympics will be an entertaining competition of donut games between Longview Fire Department and Longview Police Department, ending with a donut eating contest of course! We will host the day at “The Green” on Friday, June 2nd at 10am. Come out and enjoy free Coffee Mill coffee and Shipley’s donuts while cheering on (and thanking) our local law enforcement agencies for all they do for us!

SFA School of Arts presents ‘What We Leave Behind’

The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art and the Friends of the Visual Arts will present a free, one-night screening of “What We Leave Behind,” a documentary by Iliana Sosa that examines her relationship with her grandfather and his homeland.

Join us for our “First Saturday Hike” at Tyler State Park. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. in the lot adjacent to the Camp Store. This is a group led hike and not organized by a specific person. As a group, we’ll decide which trail(s) to hike.

Annual Bike Rally

This is our annual bike rally/fundraiser. All proceeds go to Outreach and ministry in our community. There are so many things to do and see at our rally each year. There will be live music, lots of vendors, silent and live auction, Kidzone with waterslides, corn hole tournament, and a car and bike show along with a bike run that day. It is family friendly and everyone is invited. Make plans to join us and have a great day.

70th Anniversary Parade of Homes

The Tyler Area Builders Association will host the 70th Annual Parade of Homes™ Saturday through June 11. A portion of proceeds will benefit Kingdom Life Academy, North Tyler Academy, and Hospice of East Texas’ Pediatric Hospice Care and Children’s Grief Support Services.

The Parade of Homes™ gives builder members and subcontractors a chance to showcase newly constructed homes with the latest technology and trends in home design. Anyone looking to build, buy, or renovate can find plenty of ideas. More than 4,000 visitors toured the Parade last year.

Hike with us along the Harmony Hill Trail. Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and bring a flashlight or headlamp. Meet at the Park Headquarters.
