The 4th Annual Upshur County Juneteenth Celebration Downtown Gilmer, TX on Square. Join us for a day filled with Live Entertainment from The Blaze 102.7 & 106.9, Front Cover Band, Low D & many more performances. There’s also a parade, car show, soul food contest, tractor show, kids area and so much more!

Kilgore Juneteenth Celebration

Where: Kilgore City Park, Kilgore

The Kilgore Legacy Foundation presents our annual Juneteenth Celebration! This is an event for everyone so we can spread awareness as we celebrate JUNETEENTH!

The Juneteenth parade kicks off at 10 AM! Setup downtown to enjoy the parade or sign-up to bring out your cars, motorcycles, atv’s, or your horses! Line up will begin at 9 AM. Immediately after the parade, we will have a fun day in the city park. There will be food, live entertainment and fun for the kids.

Gladewater Juneteenth Freedom Celebration

When: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Where: Weldon Bumble Bee Park, Gladewater
Cost: Free

On June 17, 2023, the Juneteenth Freedom Celebration will return to Gladewater with its Freedom Parade and Festivities at Weldon Bumble Bee Park. The event will feature music, food, vendors and fun activities for the children.

This year’s event is part of the city’s year long celebration of Gladewater’s 150th Anniversary. We are inviting ALL of Gladewater to come out and celebrate!

Longview Juneteenth Celebration

When: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Where: Parade: Ryder Street - Foster Middle School | Picnic: Broughton Park, Longview

Enjoy a morning parade followed by food vendors and live music in the park immediately following the parade!

Lufkin Juneteenth Celebration of Freedom

When: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Where: Brandon Community Center, Lufkin
Cost: Free

Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

From its Galveston, Texas origin in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation Day has spread across the United States and beyond.

Rusk Juneteenth Celebration & Parade

Parade in the morning, followed by a celebration!

Nacogdoches Juneteenth Celebration

When: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Where: Downtown Nacogdoches
Cost: Free

Come join us celebrate Juneteenth. There will be a parade at 11:00 am - 2pm downtown. Following the Parade there will be FREE Food and activities for everyone.

Live music performances will be by the amazing and talented 24/7 Band and Dj Infamous X will also be bringing down the house on the 1′s and 2′s.

The City of Kilgore is thrilled to announce that Platinum-Certified artist-songwriter BRELAND will take the stage at Kilgore City Park’s amphitheater on Monday, June 19, for Kilgore Freedom Fest. Along with the FREE Live Concert, this family-friendly event will be enjoyable to everyone with a variety of food trucks, live music, and more!
