As Independence Day approaches, we’re bringing you a list of celebrations and gatherings you can enjoy with the whole family!

Family Fireworks Celebration 2023

  • When: 6:00 PM
  • Where: South Spring Baptist Church, Tyler
  • Cost: Free

Are you interested in a FREE fireworks show that will LEAVE YOU IN COMPLETE AWE?

Ok, so we are a LITTLE biased, but we would love for you and your family to come to our Family Fireworks Celebration from 6pm-Dark on June 30th at South Spring Baptist Church!

We will have food trucks, tons of inflatables and kids activities, and our fireworks extravaganza will start when the sun goes down.

So bring your blankets, camp chairs and your family for a night of summer fun!

Food, Family, & Fireworks

  • Where: Bear Creak Smokehouse, Marshall
  • Cost: Free

Save the date, and bring your whole family! Our Independence Day celebration will be on Friday, June 30th from 6-9pm (Fireworks will start just after 9pm.) We’ll have BBQ for sale, live music from Honey Duo (Heather Linn and Jase Bryant) and a fantastic fireworks show you won’t want to miss! Free parking, no cover charge, coolers allowed (NO GLASS, PLEASE), but bring money for food and shopping in our General Store. We can’t wait to see you!

Lindale - Light the Night

  • When: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Rose Heights Church, Lindale
  • Cost: Free

Come join us for a Lindale community-wide fireworks display! We’ll have food trucks selling your favorites and lots of entertainment for the whole family before the fireworks begin. The fun begins at 7pm. This is a free event! PLEASE bring your own lawn chairs. See you there!


Red, White, & Boom

  • When: 9:00 AM - Dark
  • Where: Kaufman Sports Complex, Kaufman
  • Cost: Free

Come out and join in on all the fun family-friendly festivities at the City of Kaufman’s 2023 Red White & Boom Independence Day celebration. We will kick off the morning with a 9:00 AM parade.

The car show will be on the Square from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.

The gates at the Sports Complex will open at 4:00 PM with the cost of $20.00 per carload.

There will be bounce houses, foam pit, photo ops, outdoor games, and more for the kids and families to play. The music lineup with be released at a later date!

No glass, or BBQ grills, please.

Fellowship and Fireworks

  • When: 5:00 PM
  • Where: 17440 County Road 1182, Flint
  • Cost: Free

After Shabbat service, everyone is invited out to Everett Holley’s lakefront property for an evening of FUN!

Pack your coolers with dinner & snacks. Bring your lawn chairs/blankets, swimsuits & towels.

Do you have cornhole or other outdoor games? Bring it!! We will have a time of hanging out, swimming, & eating.


Blast Over Bullard

  • When: 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Bullard High School, Bullard
  • Cost: Free

The City’s Blast Over Bullard is BACK! This is one of our most attended events and there will be activities for all ages, games, local retail vendors, food vendors and more. Enjoy all the fun and live music from local talent leading up to the big fireworks show to end the night!

SummerFest & Fireworks Show

  • When: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Where: 606 S Louise St, Atlanta
  • Cost: Free

The Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Atlanta, is pleased to announce the 2023 SummerFest & Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 1st. We will celebrate America’s Independence with an evening of family fun!

SummerFest includes FREE parking and admission, a live concert by The Dusty Rose Band, on-site food vendors, yard games, and more! We will wrap up the evening with our annual professional fireworks show!

Blast Over Lighthouse Church

  • When: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Lighthouse Church, Bullard
  • Cost: Free

Join us on Saturday, July 1st from 6 PM to 10 PM as we celebrate our freedom. We will grill hamburgers and hotdogs, play corn hole, fellowship, and enjoy the Blast Over Bullard firework show after dark from the comfort of our parking lot. Bring your lawn chair and an appetite, and join us for a great evening of fun, food, and fellowship. There will also be a bounce house for the kids!

Lake Striker Independence Day Event

  • When: 7:00 PM
  • Where: Lake Striker Resort, Reklaw
  • Cost: $20 online | $25 at the gate

Red, White, and Blue Bash

  • When: 7:00 PM
  • Where: American Legion, Post 12, Tyler
  • Cost: Free

Come join us at Post 12 for our Red, White and Blue Bash! This is a fundraiser to help us renovate the back porch and make it accessible to everyone. Cold drinks outside on a screened in porch? Yes please! The Barksdale Bubble will be here rocking out and we have lots of other fun things planned!

Lake Tyler Marina 4th of July Weekend Blowout

  • When: 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Where: The Lake Tyler Marina Resort, Whitehouse

It’s 4th of July at Lake Tyler with Rock, Dance and PARTYING!!!!!

1:00 pm - Golf Cart Parade - Golf carts must be decorated and registered to be included in the prize give away. Registration will be at the Event Center Deck

9:00 pm - Fireworks Show begins

Fireworks at the Fisheries

  • When: 5:00 PM
  • Where: Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, Athens
  • Cost: Free

The Fireworks at the Fisheries Center will be held at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center Sunday, July 2.

Vendors will include New York Texas BBQ, Pork Commander, and Treehouse Cupcakes.

Free admission starts at 5 p.m., and the Angler’s Pavilion will be open for borrowing poles until 8:30 p.m., with the fireworks starting just after 9 p.m.

Lake Palestine Fireworks Show

  • When: 8:45 PM
  • Where: Lake Palestine Resort, Frankston
  • Cost: $5 per vehicle


4th of July Independence Day Celebration - Pittsburg

  • When: 6:00 PM - Midnight
  • Where: Broach Park, Pittsburg
  • Cost: Free

Come celebrate with the Pittsburg Camp County Chamber of Commerce and surrounding communities in beautiful Pittsburg Texas for two days of fun! The carnival starts July 3, 6:00 pm along with vendors, ending at 12:00 am. On July 4, the carnival opens at 5:00 pm with vendors, games, parachute bingo, and ending with a spectacular fireworks display. Carnival will close at 12:00 am.

Annual Celebrate Freedom Fireworks Show

  • When: 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Where: Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Tyler
  • Cost: Free


The gates to the parking lot will open at 6:30pm. Hotdogs, watermelon and water will be provided FREE to the community while supplies last.

LIVE MUSIC by country band “6 MILES TO MIXON” and an exciting show in our Venue Building featuring a live band and ILLUSIONIST Joe Schmidt.

FOOD TRUCKS will be on the premises.

This family friendly event is FREE to the pubic but we ask that you please bring a canned food item for our area food banks. Parking is limited.



East Texas Yamboree Firework Show

  • When: Gates open at 7:30 PM; Fireworks at 9:00 PM
  • Where: Yamboree Event Center, Gilmer
  • Cost: Free

This is a FREE event for the public, sponsored by Goudarzi and Young Law Office and East Texas Yamboree Association. The show will be held at the East Texas Yamboree Event Center.

Lake Hawkins Fireworks Show 2023

  • When: 9:00 PM
  • Where: Lake Hawkins RV Park, Hawkins
  • Cost: $10

Come enjoy one of the best fireworks shows in Texas with an amazing lakeside view!

$10 entry fee (all ages) at Lake Hawkins RV Park on July 3rd.


6th Annual Freedom Fighter 5K & Lil’ Firecracker Kids Dash

  • When: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Where: Bergfeld Park, Tyler

Run or walk the patriotic, family-friendly Freedom Fighter 5K and Lil’ Firecracker Kids Dash, sponsored by CHRISTUS Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute!

The FREE Lil’ Firecracker Kids Dash includes a t-shirt, but kiddos must be signed up in order to get one!

We are proud to #runforfreedom in person this year and will be donating a portion of race proceeds to Boot Campaign!

All 5K runners will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal, or you may choose to donate the cost of your shirt to Boot Campaign! All our kids dash participants will also receive a t-shirt, but in order to do so, they must be registered for the event.

Fourth of July Celebration at Lindsey Park

  • When: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Lindsey Park, Tyler
  • Cost: Free

The fun kicks off as the gates open at 3 p.m. and the fireworks show will begin after dark (around 9 p.m.). The park gate, located off Spur 364, is the only entrance, and admission is free.

Live entertainment will include music from Complete Weddings & Events. Vendors and Food Trucks can still register to be a part of the event until June 29.

Fireworks & Freedom Celebration

  • When: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Longview Convention Complex, Longview
  • Cost: Free

Each year, the City recognizes July 4 with the Fireworks and Freedom Celebration and the biggest fireworks show in East Texas at the Longview Convention Complex.

A free headline concert with Marc Boussard will be held on the live music stage at 8 p.m. with opener Ryan Matthew at 6:30 p.m.! Bring a chair and enjoy the free show from talented artists.

In addition, the event in 2023 will feature a cruise night and patriotic car show plus entertainment and vendors inside the Maude Cobb Convention Complex.

New this year will be a hot dog eating contest, barbecue eating contest, and ice cream eating contest. Registration for the contests will take place on the day of the event.

The concert and fireworks and parking are free. Food and beverage will be available for purchase from vendors during the event.

Freedom Fest 2023

  • When: 5:00 PM
  • Where: Festival Park, Nacogdoches
  • Cost: Free

  • When: 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • Where: Ellen Trout Zoo, Lufkin
  • Cost: Free

Join us for an Independence Day fireworks extravaganza at Ellen Trout Zoo! Enjoy live music, delicious food, and artisanal crafts from local vendors. With kid’s activities galore and plenty of animals to see, there’s something exciting for all ages. After dark, grab your seat and get ready to experience a fireworks display as big as Texas. Presented by Mike Love & Associates. Come celebrate Independence Day with your friends, family, and Mike Love!

  • Where: Kilgore City Park, Kilgore
  • Cost: Free

Don’t miss the legendary Kilgore Fireworks Extravaganza! Performance by The Jukebox Heroes. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 P.M. Remember to bring chairs and blankets.

The fireworks will accompany a simulcast on KDOK 105.3 FM and 1240 AM.

The Kilgore City Pool and the Lazy S Splash Ranch hours will be extended until 8:30 P.M.

Winona FBC Annual July 4th Fireworks Display

  • When: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Where: Winona High School Baseball Field, Winona
  • Cost: Free | $10 for Car Show before the event

Come early and enjoy a Car Show ($10 entry fee) and shopping. Vendor set up free.

Jefferson Salutes America

  • When: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: Otstott Park, Jefferson
  • Cost: Free

Festive’s at Otstott Park starting at 6pm Children’s parade line up at 5:45, cake auction at 6:30. Cake can be dropped off at 117 Lafayette st. Between 10 am - 3 pm.

Please come out and bid on some yummy deserts and help a wonderful cause. The children’s program of the Jefferson Carnegie Library. Homemade ice cream judging at 6:15. Eateries dropped off at 5:30 pm.

Fireworks Extravaganza on the river front at 9:30 pm. Come join a fun , family evening.

4th of July Celebration - Big Sandy

  • When: 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Where: 400 N Wildcat Dr, Big Sandy
  • Cost: Free

Join us for the annual 4th of July Parade and Fireworks Show! Line up begins at 8 p.m. with the parade starting at 8:30 p.m.

The parade route will be primarily be the North end of Wildcat Drive (starting at FM 2911 and ending near the High School Gym).
