Crochet Stuffie Class Session 1 (Advanced)

This is an adult only class and you must have at least some knowledge on how to construct a stuffed crochet animal. This is a crochet class to build community and have fun making stuffed animals! Bring your own hooks and yarn and we will provide the snacks!

Fish Fry Fundraiser / The Studebakers

Advanced Beekeeping Class

Welcome to Advanced Beekeeping! We will continue to build upon the topics we learned in the Beginner Beekeeping class. One step closer to you feeling confident in owning your own hive! This class will cover hive inspections, recognizing brood patterns, harvesting honey, bee behavior, diseases, how to grow your apiary, and pest control. You will also have the opportunity to purchase bees, hives, and beekeeping accessories (suits, gloves, smokers, etc.). Plants of Texas is excited to make all your bee dreams come true in one stop.

2nd Saturday Hike

  • Where: Martin Creek Lake State Park, Tatum

Come join a ranger every 2nd Saturday of the month for a guided hike. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, bring some water, and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. This month the hike will be on the Harmony Hill trail, meet the ranger at the trail head at 10 am.

4th Annual Goodman-LeGrand Museum Antique Quilt Display

  • When: 10am-4pm
  • Where: Goodman-LeGrand Museum, Tyler
  • Cost: Free

The display includes a quilt from the 1830′s and an 1880′s quilt owned by the Goodman-LeGrand family. More than 20 quilts that range from the 1830′s to the 1940′s and will be displayed throughout the home. “Some of the quilts this year are pristine with beautiful colors and patterns, and some have been well loved and that is what makes them special,” said Debbie Isham, special events and Goodman supervisor. Admission is free, but a suggested $3 donation per person will go toward the day-to-day operation of the museum. Groups of 10 or more the fee is $3 each. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Spring Goat Yoga

Join Flower Hill Farm’s, Lindsey Arnold, as she instructs a 30-minute yoga class accompanied with miniature goats. You will be joined by a herd of cuddly mini goats. After the yoga class ends, you will be able to spend 30 minutes with the goats for photos and goat snuggles. More info here!

East Texas Cigar Festival

The East Texas Cigar Festival will be the largest premium cigar event in North East Texas. This years event marks the 2nd year for this experience.. Last year’s event was held in the brand new store in Tyler on South Broadway with 13 vendors in attendance. This year’s event will be BIGGER with 16 vendors and held at the largest all cigar humidor in the state of Texas. The festival will run from 11 am - 3 pm on Saturday the 9th. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet representatives form the largest cigar houses in the world, purchase discounted packs from all vendors, enjoy free beer form East Texas Brewing, listen to a house DJ, visit our food truck and enjoy our newly remodeled 1,550 sq ft humidor and expanded lounge. There will be swag giveaways for cigar related goods and a ton of raffle prizes for high end humidors and other items.

East Texas Psychic Fair

  • Where: Maude Cobb Convention Center, Longview

Join us for a day of fun! We will have an assortment of vendors, psychics, healers, and more! ETPF will now be offering FREE admission for all to our regularly scheduled monthly events (2nd Saturday)! We will continue to use the ticket system for readings. Tickets available for purchase at the ETPF booth! Readings will be $35 for 30 minutes. We will now be using the ticket system for our healers! Tickets available for purchase at the ETPF booth! Healing sessions will be $25 for 20 minutes.

Fill Easter Eggs!

All About Home Vegetable Gardens

Come learn all there is to know about vegetable gardening. In this class we will talk about where to locate your vegetable garden, soil preparation, when to plant and start different vegetable types, rotating crops to maximize your space, container gardening, raised beds, common pests & treatment. At Mineola Nature Preserve amphitheater! Local falconer, Heath Kinder will be discussing conservation and the importance of these amazing birds. There will be flying at this one!! Free to attend. Please consider making a donation to the Mineola Nature Preserve! Please NO PETS!

Tyler Museum of Art - 2024 Winter Lecture Series

Cindi Holt will offer an in-depth look at her works featured in The Way I See It, including the pieces from her Texas Governor’s Mansion series. During her presentation, she will share all about her artistic process, significant influences and major career highlights. Admission is free but seating is limited. Game Night & Sundaes
