Mineola Nature Preserve

The Mineola Nature Preserve offers a wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy and flora/fauna to discover.
This local park prides itself on the peaceful and diverse bird watching experience that you can have here. Download their Bird Bingo card and see if you can find them all!

For just $5, you can bring your trusty steed and hit the Equestrian Trials! Trek 20 wonderful miles on horseback within the piney woods.
There’s quite a lot to do out here, like disc golf and mountain biking. The City of Mineola helps put on great events here too!
Yet, the Mineola Nature Preserve is a great place to not do anything too. During our visit we simply strolled around the walkways, gazed out on their 2000acre property, and were rejuvenated by the sights and sounds of the natural environment. Refreshed for the car ride back home.
