Dream Team 4th Annual Christmas Cash Bash

Genealogy Workshop
- When: 1pm
- Where: Marshall Public Library
The Marshall Public Library and Harrison County Historical Museum are teaming up to offer genealogy workshops at the library on the 2nd Thursdays of every month from 1:00-2:30 pm for individuals interested in researching their family trees.Participants will learn about the Family Search tool. Crafternoon

Girls' Night Out

Grab your friends and your most comfortable pajamas and head downtown to join Marshall’s Main Street District shops and restaurants for our Pajama edition of Girl’s Night Out. A Very Derrick Christmas

- Where: Kilgore Main Street
Join us as we bring Kilgore’s skyline to life! These stars carry a special meaning—they’ve been a part of Kilgore’s holiday tradition since the 1930s. During the oil boom, the derricks symbolized prosperity and hope, and locals began adding stars to them each Christmas season as a beacon of joy and unity. This simple yet beautiful custom has carried on for generations, lighting up Kilgore each year and connecting us to our rich heritage. Come celebrate with us at A Very Derrick Christmas!
Pool Tournament
- When: 6pm
- Where: VFW Post 1836, Lufkin
Open to the public. $5 entry fee. Weekly 8-ball tournament rules: Players flip for the break. Each player pays 1/2 of table fee. Making the 8 ball on the break results in automatic win. Scratch on the break, cueball goes behind the line. Table is open until first called shot is made. Except for an open table, you must hit your ball first. Call all your shots including banks and kisses. Ball in hand if you miss your target ball or scratch during your turn. Scratch on the 8 ball results in automatic loss. Double-elimination tournament. Music Bingo - Rock Legends

Last Train to Paris Murder Mystery Dinner

Find out what goes bump in the night, and whole bunch of history, in Mineola, TX! Every Saturday night at 8:30PM we meet in front of the Historic Select Theater at 114 N. Johnson (or across the street at Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe - 117 N. Johnson) and begin a two hour (sometimes longer) walking journey through the haunted streets and buildings of this historic town! Travel with a professional paranormal investigator! Use the equipment as seen on TV! Go inside some places and participate in experiments designed to communicate with the departed! It’s a tour and a hunt combined and it’s a heck of a fun way to spend a Saturday night! Tickets are $15 per person. Please, no children under 10yrs because it can get quite spooky.
