Downtown Hawkins just got a whole lot sweeter with the recent addition of the Holly Cow, an East Texan creamery.
Holly Cow has been serving up local-favorite ice cream in the area for a number of years with their Holly Lake Ranch location. (Hence the name Holly Cow.)
But their new downtown Hawkins spot, known as “the Udder One”, offers delicious barbecue and a giant hangout spot, including a beautiful music stage and plenty of space for the kids to turn loose.
SCOOP IT UP!
Every Friday morning, the Holly Cow fridge is totally stocked with giant containers of Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Load up a freshly made cone with the staple flavors of chocolate, vanilla, salted caramel brownie and strawberry mixed with whatever toppings you heart desires.

Any of their ice creams can be served as milkshakes, banana splits, sundaes, floats and even an affogato! (Which is basically ice cream drowned in coffee!)

What makes Holly Cow “dairy” unique, is the fact that they smoke their own brisket right on site!
Enjoy savory BBQ and pulled pork sandwiches, nachos, and a classic Sloppy Joe.

The atmosphere of Holly Cow is vibrant and full of fun! You could easily spend your entire afternoon here.

Inside the shop you will find funny cow and ranch decor, along with candies and gifts for purchase, including iconic LEGOS from Brick City Department!
Outside, step into the “The Pasture”, as they like to call it. This turfed backyard area is perfect for families throwing the football, play bag toss and just let out some energy.
Beside this giant play space is their large music stage with a beautiful hand painted mural that reads, “I pick you among the wildflowers in Hawkins, TX.”
