Keep Tyler Green is a new and very active nonprofit organization that is taking this mission to heart with impactful cleanup sessions and educational awareness.

“One piece of trash at a time.”
This is the motivation that keeps the wheels turning for the Keep Tyler Green cleanup crew.

With a primary target zone of the city and surrounding areas of Tyler, this local nonprofit puts on periodic community trash pick-up events. Getting rid of harmful plastics and other items that nature just can’t break down.
Although this organization is fresh, their impact is already being felt by in a huge way. Like with their recent cleanup on Texas College Road where they filled 83 bags of trash and debris!
A CONSCIOUS COMMUNITY
For the Keep Tyler Green crew, knowledge on the natural environment is also one of their passions.
During our visit with them, they shared that the average person consumes about a credit card size worth of microplastics each week! (YIKES!) This is due to improper recycling and disastrous environmental pollution finding its way into areas such as waterways.
Facts like this drive the team to make a difference.
