We were able to get a full walkthrough of the most anticipated outdoor mega store in East Texas, Bass Pro Shops!
As you walk inside the visitor lobby, you’ll notice the cozy cabin vibes along with an absolutely stunning light fixture that is decked out with roses and an artistic map to honor the city of Tyler.
From camping gear to high quality rods and reels, you will find all of the outdoor equipment and attire you need to keep your hobbies going strong! We were blown away by the shear amount of product and top-notch brands that they have in stock.
The most impressive feature here is by far the 23,000-gallon aquarium! Home to a massive school of fish, you can get up close to amazing East Texas marine life. Our favorite fishy was the massive Catfish that loved to swim up close to our camera.
The one-of-a-kind atmosphere truly makes Bass Pro Shops a must visit. The store is filled with decor that embraces the local wildlife and outdoor fun. We had a blast admiring the many stuffed trophy animals and antique recreational equipment. The many nature-themed murals throughout the entire building were all hand painted. Which is impressive as the store spans to over 77,000sq. ft!

The Grand Opening Weekend kicks off April 16th with a full-on celebration! Enjoy their Evening of Conservation with fishing and hunting celebrities, live music from Blaine Holcomb, awesome giveaways, tons of family fun, and incredible grand opening deals! All the fun beings at 5pm!
