The East Texas Weekend Preview — Nestled in the beautiful piney woods lies is a truly special BBQ joint that serves up delicious meals, as well as offering a one-of-a-kind baseball experience.
“Step up to the Plate”, as they say, to All Star Bar-B-Q in Rusk and order from a wide variety of sandwich and BBQ plates.
We devoured the smoky goodness of a freshly chopped beef sandwich meal, covered in their high-quality sauce! We added some savory pinto beans and an incredible recipe of potato salad. SO GOOD! Explore their full menu of ribs, stuffed potatoes and more, HERE!
As you walk in the doors of this must-try restaurant, you will feel like you’ve stepped into a Houston Astros museum!
Completely covering the walls, and ceiling, you will find a plethora of Astros memorabilia, merchandise and trinkets. Admire pendants celebrating the 2017 & 2022 World Series wins to neat novelties like an Astros garden gnome and lots of historic, signed photographs of past players. Our favorite piece was a vintage View-Master toy, that included 3D slides of old, famous Astros games.

You’ll have an absolute blast as you stroll around the shop, discovering all sorts of MLB treasures!
To all the Texas Rangers fans that stop in for a visit, just focus on how good the brisket and ribs are. ;)
