The Bringle Dam
The East Texas Weekend Preview — Enjoy one of the most nature-filled, scenic spots in all of Texarkana!
Stroll the Wildlife Area Trail on the north side of Bringle Lake and encounter incredible views of the water, pines and other wonderful features, including a very unique dam structure.
As you arrive to the dam, checkout tons of murals and paintings by many local artists. Some of our favorites included the colorful, winding concrete pathway and the many interesting characters painted at the bottom of the dam.
This destination is super refreshing, especially in the morning as the sun rises above the lake, peaking through the trees.
During our visit we saw many folks out and about, exploring the area all around the dam. Fishing for bass, walking their dogs and just taking in the sights and sounds.
