East Texas is welcoming Christmas with some huge festivities this year and Longview is already primed to celebrate with events happening now until the end of December!

Below is a full list of various community events happening all around town over the next month.

THURSDAY, 12/4

Downtown Longview AMBUCS Christmas Parade

When: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: 401 N 1st St, Longview

Make the season merry and bright at the Downtown Longview AMBUCS Reindeer Games Christmas Parade. Thursday, December 4, starting at 6:30pm. Marvel at over one hundred floats, marching bands, drill teams and more, all decked out in Reindeer Games themed decorations and lights. Feel the family fun holiday energy and excitement, as the parade makes its way down Whaley, Horaney and Methvin streets.

FRIDAY, 12/5

Home for the Holidays

When: 6pm
Where: Belcher Center at LeTourneau University, Longview

Santa Flavious is coming to town along with your favorite carols and carolers for Home for the Holidays Concert. Fun for the entire family to celebrate the happiest time of the year! With the jolliest Longview Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Longview Children’s Choir, special guests and the big man himself it is the merriest way to kick off the holiday season!

SATURDAY, 12/6

Jingle Bell Jog

When: 8:00am - 10:00am
Where: Downtown Longview

Holiday Tea Room & Market

When: 11:00am - 2:30pm
Where: Longview Museum of Fine Arts

Join us for the 2025 Holiday Tea Room & Market! Each year, LMFA opens its galleries for a unique holiday experience. Celebrate the season at the Holiday Market, a free event open to the public featuring East Texas artisans. There is no better place to find unique and personal items. The Market complements the LMFA Holiday Tea Room which features a delicious luncheon with specially decorated tables.

Light Up Longview Trails - Christmas Ride

When: 6:00pm
Where: Flugers Longview; Bicycle & Outdoors

Join us for a magical evening at Flugers Bicycle & Outdoors in Longview, TX for our annual Light Up Longview Trails Ride! What to Expect: Free Hot Dogs, Drinks & Music Festive atmosphere before and after the ride Checkpoints along the paved trails lit with holiday cheer Best Dressed Competition – deck yourself and your bike out in lights & holiday spirit for a chance to win! ArtWalk

Where: Downtown Longview

ArtWalk Longview is a FREE, self-guided tour of downtown business venues exhibiting and selling art. ArtWalk is free to artists to participate and free to the public to attend. Founded in the fall of 2007, ArtWalk was initially created to be a downtown event, with the goal of attracting more people to downtown Longview to enjoy the museums, restaurants, and businesses that are open and exhibiting artists. The event has grown over the years and now regularly has food trucks and street musicians, as well as the artists.
