Christmas in the Pineywoods

We’re kicking things off in style with Girls Night Out and the much-anticipated release of our Christmas in the Pineywoods Holiday Cookbook on Thursday, November 20, 2025 — it’s the perfect recipe for fun with friends! The festivities continue with a full day of fabulous shopping on Friday, November 21, 2025 - grab your list and check it twice! We guarantee to have the perfect gift for everyone on your list! It’s back! After last year’s incredible success, BREAKFAST WITH SANTA returns for another magical morning of Christmas fun. Join us for a festive breakfast with Santa Flavious, complete with fluffy hotcakes, laughter, and holiday cheer under the pines.

Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting

When: 4pm-7pm
Where: 219 E Methvin St, Longview

Get ready for the Reindeer Games Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Longview, presented by Texas Credit Corp. Enjoy free photos with Santa Flavious, live music, rides, food, vendors, and more

FRIDAY, 11/28

Bright A Season of Lights: Opening Night!

When: 05:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Where: Longview Arboretum

Opening Night at BRIGHT!Kick off the holiday season with us on Friday, November 28 as we celebrate the grand opening of BRIGHT! A Season of Lights . Stroll the gardens under thousands of sparkling lights and enjoy a festive evening filled with music and holiday cheer. The talented Blake Doyle will be performing live in the gazebo, setting the perfect mood for this magical night .

Special guests include Sweet Dreams Cotton Candy and The Flower Bar , offering fun treats and festive flair. And of course, Santa will be visiting from 6:00–8:30 PM —ready for photos, smiles, and Christmas wishes!

SATURDAY, 11/29

Annual Longview Mall Christmas Tree Lighting

When: 5:00pm - 7:30pm
Where: Longview Mall

To spark the excitement for the holiday season, Longview Mall will be lighting its Christmas tree on Nov. 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the front entrance. During the tree lighting, guests can enjoy craft stations, holiday games, a train ride, hot chocolate, a performance from the Sounds of the Season Woodland Hills Adult and Youth Choirs, music from DJ Randy, a live Radio Remote from KYKX, food trucks, vendors, and much more

Downtown Longview AMBUCS Christmas Parade

When: 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where: 401 N 1st St, Longview

Make the season merry and bright at the Downtown Longview AMBUCS Reindeer Games Christmas Parade. Thursday, December 4, starting at 6:30pm. Marvel at over one hundred floats, marching bands, drill teams and more, all decked out in Reindeer Games themed decorations and lights. Feel the family fun holiday energy and excitement, as the parade makes its way down Whaley, Horaney and Methvin streets.

FRIDAY, 12/5

Home for the Holidays

When: 6pm
Where: Belcher Center at LeTourneau University, Longview

Santa Flavious is coming to town along with your favorite carols and carolers for Home for the Holidays Concert. Fun for the entire family to celebrate the happiest time of the year! With the jolliest Longview Symphony Orchestra, the Greater Longview Children’s Choir, special guests and the big man himself it is the merriest way to kick off the holiday season!

Jingle Bell Jog

When: 8:00am - 10:00am
Where: Downtown Longview

Holiday Tea Room & Market

Where: Longview Museum of Fine Arts

Join us for the 2025 Holiday Tea Room & Market! Each year, LMFA opens its galleries for a unique holiday experience. Celebrate the season at the Holiday Market, a free event open to the public featuring East Texas artisans. There is no better place to find unique and personal items. The Market complements the LMFA Holiday Tea Room which features a delicious luncheon with specially decorated tables.

Light Up Longview Trails - Christmas Ride

Where: Flugers Longview; Bicycle & Outdoors

Join us for a magical evening at Flugers Bicycle & Outdoors in Longview, TX for our annual Light Up Longview Trails Ride! What to Expect: Free Hot Dogs, Drinks & Music Festive atmosphere before and after the ride Checkpoints along the paved trails lit with holiday cheer Best Dressed Competition – deck yourself and your bike out in lights & holiday spirit for a chance to win! ArtWalk

Where: Downtown Longview

ArtWalk Longview is a FREE, self-guided tour of downtown business venues exhibiting and selling art. ArtWalk is free to artists to participate and free to the public to attend. Founded in the fall of 2007, ArtWalk was initially created to be a downtown event, with the goal of attracting more people to downtown Longview to enjoy the museums, restaurants, and businesses that are open and exhibiting artists. The event has grown over the years and now regularly has food trucks and street musicians, as well as the artists.
