The East Texas Weekend Preview — You and your family are invited to spend part of your Thanksgiving Break at the Museum of East Texas! Join us Monday, November 24th through Wednesday, November 26th from 10am-5pm for FREE festive art activities and crafts in our Education Room. Hunker down for a full arts & crafts day, or, stop by throughout the week! Turkey Tracks Pipe. Cleaner Printing. Turkey Suncatchers Gratitude Chain. Unable to visit on a weekday? Don’t worry, fall arts & crafts will be available in our Education Room all season long. Thanksgiving projects will be left out through the weekend as supplies last. Please be respectful of our space and supplies by cleaning up after yourself and your family.

Friends and Family Thanksgiving

When: 4:30pm
Where: Asher Point Independent Living of Tyler

Join our community as we gather, break bread, and give thanks for our many blessings. Gather your friends and family to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal, prepared by our Chef and our amazing culinary team, while spending time together. While you are here, be sure to tour our community and see what our residents are thankful for every day! We look forward to a festive time with you, as gratitude is best shared with friends and family.

WEDNESDAY, 11/26

Thanksgiving Break for the KIDS

When: 10am-12pm
Where: The Art Parlor, Canton

The holiday season is here, and it’s time to create some delightful memories for your kids! Join us at The Art Parlor for the beginning of Thanksgiving Break for a fun-filled arts and crafts experience. Your little ones will dive into their creativity, making charming decorations that you can proudly display during your Thanksgiving celebrations. Ages 6-12 years old. $35 a day. Limited seating. Must pre-register.

Family Thanksgiving

When: 2pm
Where: Dogwood Trails Asst. Living, Palestine

Friendsgiving Ramen Night

When: 6pm
Where: Greenside Beverage Company, Longview

Come out the night before Thanksgiving to have Ki Mexico’s legendary RAMEN and enjoy live music and festive drinks on the patio! Chef Rodrigo’s famous ramen will be cooking outside on the patio to enjoy alongside specialty craft beer from Japan and fresh new wines. Live music from our good pal Jesse Rawlinson of Shreveport, LA! Ki Mexico in Shreveport sells out their weekly ramen nights so you don’t want to miss your chance to have it right here in downtown Longview.

ACTIVE presents ‘Thanksgiving Celebration’ hosted by Bubba Poole and Carey Fortson. This is an occasion for family and friends to feed their stomach and soul. The food will be provided by Chef Carey Fortson. Live music. Games.

Thanksgiving Meal

When: 5pm
Where: VFW Post 1799 Canteen, Tyler

Post will open at 2PM and Thanksgiving Meal will be served at 5PM. Chiefs vs Cowboys Game will be on. This event is open to all post members, their family and the public.

Chef’s Table Thanksgiving

Where: Azalea Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care, Tyler

Join our community for a come-and-go style Friendsgiving event featuring a spread of festive bites and a taste of our chef’s seasonal favorites! While you’re out and about doing all your Black Friday shopping, stop by Azalea for grab-and-go, day-after-Thanksgiving creations from our chef! Anyone who stops by will also be entered into our Christmas Giveaway. We’d love to see you and share a little Friendsgiving cheer!
