The East Texas Weekend Preview — It is located at Loop 7 and Patterson Road in the East Texas city of Athens. The park is more than 1 mile long and has over 4 million lights, including more than 60 scenes and 50 motion controlled lighted scenes in addition to 6 tunnels and 14 arches, and 2000 wood cutouts.

Christmas Park Athens

Season: Land of Lights is open from 6:00 P.M. till 10:00 P.M. Every year starting November 10th through the 3rd of January

Piney Park

Season: Nov 14 – Dec 23
Hours: Mon-Thurs: 5:00PM – 9:00PM
Fri & Sat: 5:00PM – 10:00PM
Where: 600 Martin Lake Road, Marshall

Get into the holiday spirit at Piney Park! Walk our beautiful Trails of Lights, take pictures with Santa, eat dinner and sweets at the food trucks, and enjoy our many attractions such as our jumbo jumpers, light maze, barrel train rides, Piney Peak slides, singing reindeer, and more! All attractions are included in your admission!

SantaLand

Season: November 14th 2025 and operate every night rain or shine including holidays until January 4th. Gates open at 6.
Where: 11455 interstate 20 west, Tyler

We’re in full swing now !! Santa has arrived and will be with us every Thursday-Sunday until December 23 and Trailer rides have begun! Trailer rides run every night rain or shine until December 26. Trailer tickets can be purchased inside the Gift Shop at Register 1!

Walk Of Lights

Season: November 21st-December 23rd
Hours: 6pm-10pm
Where: 2161 FM 315, Palestine

Christmas light walk through with something for everyone to see! Pictures with Santa, Grinch and snacks too! Located at 2161 FM 315, Palestine, Texas. $20.00 per car up to 6 people, $3.00 for each after. *Dates open: December 5th-7th, 12th-14th and 19th-28th

Wonderland of Lights

Season: November 26th-January 3rd
Where: Downtown Marshall

Up in Lights

Lufkin’s Lighting of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Pumping Unit

When: 5pm (December 5th)
Where: 222 E Shepherd Ave, Lufkin

Gather your loved ones, bundle up, and join us in Downtown Lufkin for the dazzling Lighting of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Pumping Unit! This 45-ft tall, fully operational oil pumpjack, decked out in thousands of twinkling lights, will once again light the way into the holiday season. Make your way to 222 E. Shepherd Ave on Friday, December 5, 2025 for a celebration full of wonder, cheer, and unforgettable memories. Festivities begin at 5:00PM. What Is Rudolph, Anyway? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Pumping Unit is a one-of-a-kind symbol of Lufkin Industries and Lufkin’s heritage and heart. Since the 1960s, this beloved industrial icon has been transformed into a festive reindeer with a glowing red nose. It now calls Downtown Lufkin home, bringing holiday joy to families far and wide. Dress up in your most festive, fabulous, or funny holiday attire, think elf hats, reindeer ears, ugly sweaters, or light-up shoes!

Christmas in the Park

When: 6pm (December 6th)
Where: The Children’s Park of Tyler

The Park is now filled each evening with Christmas lights, and we invite you to gather in person with us for one of our most cherished traditions—Christmas in the Park, happening Friday, December 6th at 6:00 PM. This evening of carols, family activities, and community is a time to celebrate a love that remains even in seasons of loss.

Trail of Lights Extravaganza

When: 6pm-8pm (December 6th)
Where: Mission Dolores State Historic Site, San Augustine

Join us Saturday, December 6th for our Trail of Lights Extravaganza. View our lighted walking trail, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy cookies, cocoa, crafts, music, and games. We look forward to seeing you there.

Christmas Light Hayride

When: 6pm-9pm (December 18th-December 20th)
Where: Impact Cowboy Church of Nacogdoches

Join us for some Christmas cheer featuring our FREE hayride through the trail of lights! The whole family is sure to enjoy this event which also includes games, a vendor mall, food, hot chocolate, and a special Christmas guest
