Noonday Holiness Camp
The East Texas Weekend Preview — Right before the turn of the 20th century, early civic leaders in the Hallsville area constructed what is known today as the Noonday Holiness Camp in 1897.
Throughout the years, this gathering place has welcomed many groups of Christian worshippers from all over.
Today, this massive, metal structure still stands proud. Take a stroll through the complex and underneath the towering awning. Imagine the powerful sermons and jubilant hymns that were exclaimed over the past generations.
The site is still active, with occasional meetups of East Texans to come and celebrate Christ together.
