Mrs. Lee’s Daffodil Garden
The East Texas Weekend Preview — Among the pines of Gladewater, TX there lies a massive drive-thru garden just waiting to be explored.
Bring the whole family to this free-to-visit nature space where the flowers cover the hills like a blanket.
Since 1985, Mrs. Lee’s Daffodil Garden has welcomed visitors from all over the world to stroll, picnic and simply admire the beauty of the ranch. Specifically, the large number of daffodils that cover the landscape.
In the 1950’s, Mrs. Helen Lee sought to create a one-of-a-kind display of flowers on her land, among many other projects. Over the years, her 1,000+ acre ranch transformed into a wonderful display of beauty with the cultivation of a huge blossom of daffodils each season.
Today, you can enjoy the fruits of her labor by planning a family visit to the garden! Drive through the 4 mile, winding path or stay a while with plenty of space to lounge and walk. The photo ops are out of this world as it feels like you’re standing in a sea of yellow flowers.
