The East Texas Weekend Preview — Home to nostalgic favorites like the Chick-O-Stick and Long Boys, this East Texas factory has been whipping up treats for over 90yrs.
While you can find their full selection across the entire planet, Atkinson Candy Company welcomes you to their factory store known as, The Candy Kitchen!
Inside this tiny corner of the massive Atkinson operation, guests can snag some freshly made candies of all sorts of flavors. (At a super affordable price, too!)
During our visit we picked up a bag of Black Cows! Real chocolate neatly rolled together with caramel for a chewy, delicious experience.
What’s also worth mentioning is that the Atkinson Candy Company is a Weekend Wonder! They were voted “favorite sweet shop” in East Texas by voters across the region during our summertime contest. Stay tuned for our next tournament!
