The East Texas Weekend Preview — The Dogwood trees are blossoming here in East Texas.
But that’s not the only wonderous thing starting to appear in the piney woods.
Tiny, mystical scenes of bright colors and fun-loving characters have taken place at the bottom of the forest.
Experience all the whimsical fun with a family stroll on the Fairy Garden Trail at the Davey Dogwood Park.
From March 20th to April 30th, you can enjoy a relaxing hike underneath the towering pines and dogwoods while admiring these stunning, little creations made by local artists.

Each piece is made with such detail, from tiny fairy homes to small gnomes going about their daily life.
Our favorite fairy-like scene had to be the wonderful recreation of Palestine’s beloved and historic hotel, The Redlands.
