With Arbor Day spouting up this month, Subaru and their retailers, like Peltier Subaru, are gearing up to provide and distribute 100,000 regionally appropriate trees across the United States. All in collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation.™
With tons of love for planet Earth, this month’s Peltier Subaru Supports is highlighting a truly special nonprofit organization that is helping to manage some of East Texas’ most scenic, and fun, outdoor routes.

STEWARDING SUSTAINABLE TRAILS
For around 12yrs now, Lynnette Wood and her team of passionate volunteers have helped restore and transform many park trails around the region.
Through their massive cleanup efforts and creative design work, East Texas is now home to many treks that welcome locals and travelers alike throughout the year.

Biking, hiking, birdwatching and every hobbyist in between make up the folks at the East Texas Trail Advocates! With so many various outdoor passions, all trail users are welcome to join in on the cause.
The majority of their work has been conducted in the Tyler/Longview area, with tons of love shown to the paths at Tyler State Park and the Mineola Nature Preserve.
The mission is ongoing, as they quickly respond to take care of local trails after storms that blow through East Texas and are helping communities, such as Gilmer, plan out future nature paths.
