Celebrate culture, community, and family fun at Lufkin’s annual Cinco De Mayo Festival at Kiwanis Park. Enjoy live music, traditional dance performances, the crowning of Miss Cinco De Mayo, and festive contests including crowd-favorite T-shirt competitions. Families can enjoy a variety of kid-friendly activities including bouncy houses, dunking booths, and special games designed just for children. With food, music, and activities for all ages, this lively celebration brings the community together for a colorful and energetic day in Lufkin.

Get ready for a fiesta you don’t want to miss! Get ready for an evening full of color, culture, and celebration at the Longview Arboretum’s annual Cinco de Mayo event! Bring your friends and family and enjoy: Traditional Folkloric Dancers. Live music by Mariachi Aguila Real. DJ Dro spinning all evening. The fan-favorite Taco Contest. Fun kids’ activities. Cerveza y Margaritas.

Sweat, Salsa & Sidekicks

Join us ALL DAY on May 5th for classes starting at 5AM and rolling through 6:30PM! Bring a friend, partner, or your favorite sidekick who would love to come sweat it out 💪🔥 Stick around after class (or come even if you can’t make one!) because Regia Burger will be set up from 9AM–2PM serving up tacos, nachos, aguas frescas, and protein bowls 🤤🌮🥤

Cinco de Mayo at Casa Blanca

Join us for our Cinco de Mayo Cultural Program as we celebrate music, dance, poetry, history, and Hispanic heritage across our district! Come enjoy an evening filled with incredible student performances and a celebration of culture, community, and pride.

Cinco de Mayo Fun Run

When: 7pm
Where: El Agave Event Venue, Malakoff, TX

We’re hosting it on Cinco De Mayo (May 5th, 2026) @ El Agave event center. It’s still 2 miles & you can either run or walk, there’s no pressure at all - this is not a race! It is a live course, meaning traffic will not be controlled, so be sure to bring whatever you may need with you(waters, etc) on your person. As always, RIO903 will be providing complimentary drinks & bananas to our runners. This month we have also decided to include a bounce house for all the kiddos to have fun on after the run, courtesy of El Agave Rentals!!We have more sponsors this month & we are just so thankful for each & every one of them!!! Cooper Insures is graciously sponsoring 2 free tacos to the first 80 participants along with goodies for everyone!!!!! Selfie Bro’s’ Photo-booth is also going to be onsite & everyone will be able to take selfies for the memories
