Join our community as we celebrate the man, the myth, the legend - DAD! Bring your family and friends to enjoy fun games like horseshoe throwing and cornhole, or add a little flair with a temporary tattoo! Light bites, cocktails, and zero-proof refreshments will be provided. Bring your competitive nature and your smiles as we share our appreciation for all the wonderful dads who make our community strong. SATURDAY, 6/20

Dash for Dad & Poker Run

When: 7am
Where: Lake Hawkins RV Park

Dash for Dad on Lake Hawkins will feature a community run/walk to honor fathers, celebrate families and encourage health and wellness on this Father’s Day weekend. Hosted by Amancio’s Athletics, Dash for Dad on Saturday, June 20, honors the memory of Amancio “Mancho” Martinez, a father who passed away after a battle with cancer. The event is a chance for people to slow down, come together, and recognize the important people in everyone’s lives. The 9th Annual Lake Hawkins Poker Run--a fundraiser for the fireworks show--takes place on Saturday, June 20th, 2024. Registration starts at 10:30am on the lakefront at Taste of Italy. Poker Run starts at 11:00am, ending at 1:00pm.

Father’s Day Hike

Join us for our 5th Annual Fishing with Dads Community Event hosted by Healthy Start Tyler. This free family-friendly event is open to the Smith County community and will include fishing, games, food, music, community resources, vendors, giveaways, and activities for all ages.

Bikes, Bites & Beats

Where: Lone Star Harley-Davidson, Tyler
