The East Texas Weekend Preview — For over 50 years, this roadside farmers market has offered some of the freshest produce in the region, all while providing a wonderful scene for family-fun!
Summertime means peaches are in full swing here at Efurd Orchards.
Step inside their massive, open-air building that is absolutely loaded with their new peach crop that’s plump and right off the tree. After a taste, you’ll know why this East Texas orchard has gone from a quaint fruit stand to national distributor.
A huge attraction here is their homemade ice cream! There is nothing better than their freshly picked peaches blended up into a cone of soft serve. They also have plenty of other flavors available, too! (But we highly recommend the peach in these summer months.)
While they’re widely known for their peaches, Efurd Orchards always has many other seasonal favorites available. From bright strawberries, bountiful blueberries and even a large spread of veggies, you will be amazed by the quality and quantity that they have up for grabs.

Come for the produce, stay for the scenery and activities. With ice cream in hand, stroll around the whole complex for some great photo ops with the quacking ducks and old timey trucks. Even pick your very own bouquet of flowers with their stunning garden along HWY 271. You and the family can easily spend an afternoon relaxing here.
