A milestone birthday calls for a unforgettable celebration!

This summer, downtown Jefferson honors America with a truly remarkable party this July 3rd & 4th!

Marion County will remember this one for years, with a weekend full of family fun.

The festivities kick off Friday at 1pm with “Pies, Ponies & Patriotism!” Decorate pool noodle ponies, snag some free mini apple pies (while supplies last) and tour the historic Atalanta Railcar.

Later at 7pm, there will be two awesome concert opportunities with the Marshall Symphony Orchestra (501 E. Jefferson St.) and the Big Band Concert & Swing Time (305 E. Austin St.)

The next day, enjoy a full day of downtown Jefferson fun! Spend the day shopping, eating and touring downtown, all while experience the various festivities.

At 11am, the America 250 Parade kicks off with a beautiful display of rolling patriotism.

Saturday afternoon is absolutely loaded with outdoor celebrations, including the Children’s Parade, Ice Cream Championship, Field Day at the Schluter House and an powerful Patriotic Concert by the Shreveport Metropolitan Band.

At 9:30pm, the evening concludes with the main event, Fireworks Fantamagoria! (An epic name for a special celebration.) Enjoy the magnificent display of pyrotechnics across the East Texas night sky.
