In the midst of devastation, this East Texas nonprofit organization provides peace to suffering families.
The loss of an infant, prior or shortly after birth, brings about unmatched pain.
Angel Layettes, located in Flint, helps ease the hurt by offering handmade burial layettes, blankets and keepsakes, free of charge.
For twenty years now, this local nonprofit has been supplying hospitals within the region, and far across the nation, with beautiful garments to help preserve the memories of lost little ones.
Each and every piece is made in-house, at their East Texas facility. Inside, you will find rows of sewing machines, stacks of wonderous fabric and joyful volunteers putting all of the creations together.

Compassion and workmanship are at the center of their operation. Their impact continues to bless families all over the United States, and especially here in the piney woods. So much so, that they were voted into the Top 3 favorite nonprofit organizations in this year’s Nonprofit Knockout contest!
With over 2,500 layettes made each year and serving 90+ hospitals, their heartfelt task is in full-swing and they are always looking for more volunteers.
