Since 1908, this lakeside boat launch has served as a popular gateway for unforgettable weekends on the water.
Johnson’s Ranch Marina has become a household name within the region, with its East Texas charm, friendly staff and everything you need to experience the Caddo to the fullest.
The towering bald Cypress trees, hanging Spanish Moss, and Bigfoot cutouts and art located here really solidifies that fun, swamp-like vibe.
Here at the launch, you can gather up some snacks, enjoy some fishing from their pier and pay $5 to park and send your water vessel into Caddo Lake!

You can even rent a variety of kayaks and canoes to embark on your own adventure, or call ahead and schedule a guided tour around Caddo Lake.
We absolutely loved our visit as we got to kick back with some of the locals, watch some folks land some lunkers right off the dock and set sail on our very own kayak adventure along the nearby paddling trails.
Also, this waterfront destination happens to be the oldest inland marina throughout the entire state. For well over a century, enthusiasts and families have come to this very spot to embrace the wonder, and fun, of Caddo Lake.
