Threads & Thimbles

David Phelps - The Speak of Love Tour

Mark your calendars and join us for a great evening of worship with David Phelps in Concert! Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Our Flint Worship Choir will be joining him for some songs as well!

4th Annual Coffee Crawl
- When: 6am | 7am | 8am | 9am | 10am | 11am
- Where: Big Shot Coffee House, Tyler
The fourth Tyler Coffee Crawl returns on August 21st and 22nd, 2026, featuring five local coffee shops across Tyler, TX. The crawl begins at Big Shot: Coffee House, where participants will check in, receive their wristband for access to exclusive discounted menus at each stop, and meet their assigned crawl guide.
CCC Sale
- When: 10am-4pm
- Where: Green Acres Crosswalk Center, Tyler
The CCC Sale puts the best children’s consignment shopping under one roof. Currently, thousands of East Texas families bring their gently used kids clothes, shoes, toys, books, games, bikes, baby equipment, furniture, sporting goods….. If your kids need or want it – chances are you will find it at the CCC Sale. This twice a year event features shopping the very best bargains in all of East Texas. The CCC Sale is a great way to clean out your no longer needed items and earn money at the same time. The best part is purchasing items that your children need at unbelievable prices. Once you participate in the CCC Sale, you will never want to miss it again.
Fused Glass Every Third Friday
- When: 5pm-7pm
- Where: Canton Art Co-Op
Join us each 3rd Friday of the month to play and create fused glass projects. Projects vary in price from $45- $60 depending on project choice. Open studio time come and go as needed. Text Erin Simmons to register for the event and if you have any questions.
Livingston’s Stuffed Animal Sleepover
- When: 5:30pm (Toy pick up on Saturday, 1pm to 3pm)
- Where: Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site, Paris
Livingston the Lion, the Maxey House collection’s beloved toy, and the Maxey House staff invite children to bring a favorite stuffed animal, doll, or action figure to the Maxey House for a special sleepover designed just for the toys!

The Toadies Return to True Vine

The Texas Big Game Awards will commemorate its 35th Anniversary with celebrations held across all regions of the state. This milestone year will bring together hunters, volunteers, landowners, and program participants for an expanded experience that blends recognition with educational workshops, wildlife symposiums, and meaningful community engagement.
Hot August Nights 2026
- When: 6pm
- Where: Plaza Tower. Tyler
A fabulous 5-course dinner prepared for you by downtown chefs and served family-style by local culinary students. Local artists and musicians provide the entertainment with live music and live painting during cocktail hour. At the close of dinner, you will have a chance to bid on the art that you watched being created and help a local artist.

Shop Local Vendor Event
