My Pig Filled Life
The East Texas Weekend Preview — On the outskirts of Wills Point, there exists an peaceful ranch that’s exclaiming with happy oinks!
This spot is known as My Pig Filled Life, a local nonprofit organization with the main goal of rescuing miniature pigs from a variety of harsh scenarios.
Since 2016, Melanie Moreau and her joyous crew of animal lovers have saved over 400 pigs from abandonment, deadly illness and various tragedies.
Today, the ranch serves as a sanctuary for nearly 300 rescued piggies. Here they can get proper treatment, enjoy a restful lifestyle and, for many, await potential adoption!
Along with the crew’s important, vital mission they also offer tours of their facility where you can get some up close and personal experiences with these cuddly pigs!

It’s safe to say, the preconceived notion on pigs is that they’re nasty, wild and unaffectionate. This couldn’t be further from the truth! A visit here to the ranch will change your whole perspective on these wonderful creatures.
During our time out here, we got to meet so many spunky swine that were patiently waiting for a good scratch. They were so docile and cute as they slowly made their way over for a proper introduction. It was so clear why the crew here adores these animals, which fuels their nonprofits endeavors.
Being open to tours on Saturdays, or by appointment, this East Texas mini pig rescue welcomes you and your family to come experience the true nature of pigs.
