The O’Malley Alley Cat Lounge
For years, nonprofit organization, O’Malley Alley Cat, has fostered and rescued hundreds of kitties in the Tyler area.
Upon recovery, many of these cats will find themselves at a temporary stay in the one-of-a-kind cat lounge that the nonprofit has constructed.
Here, the cats are uncaged, roaming free within this beautiful, two-story building. Plenty of toys, scratching posts and other fun obstacles line the walls as dozens of kitties frolicking in between. It is by far one of the cutest sights to behold for any cat lover. During their time here, the cats get all of the support that they need in preparation for adoption.
Throughout the year, O’Malley occasionally will host open house events! During these special times, you can come in and visit all of the spunky kitties that have taken residence here. Stay posted to their Facebook page to see when the next event will be.
If you want a more consistent basis to come hangout with the cats, consider volunteering at the lounge! Volunteers will do a variety of weekly tasks to ensure the care and support of the lovable felines that live here. Extra love, attention and treats for the cats are also encouraged while spending time in the lounge.
