The Cocktail That Launched the Dollar Drink Craze Gets a New Flavor and will Be Featured at Applebee’s Restaurants in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Waco and East Texas all of August.
The dollar drink that was born in Texas is getting a flavor lift for the ENTIRE MONTH OF AUGUST as select Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill +Bar restaurants in the Lone Star State will feature the STRAWBERRY DOLLARITA — 10 oz. strawberry margaritas for a buck.
Apple Texas, the local franchisee that owns and operates 64 Applebee’s restaurants in the state, will feature the cocktail that is made with tequila, strawberry and margarita mix and served on the rocks all day, every day for guests 21+ at its restaurants in Austin, East Texas, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Waco and surrounding areas in August.
The original DOLLARITA campaign resulted in more margaritas sold in any month in the franchise partner’s history and was adopted system-wide by Applebee’s last October. The Applebee’s brand will feature the STRAWBERRY DOLLARITA at participating Applebee’s during the month-long campaign as well.
