Circle M Crawfish has been serving East Texas for over 2 decades

Eat. Drink. Play.

Circle M Crawfish in Big Sandy, Texas has a mission to serve no-nonsense Cajun food including shrimp, catfish and it’s namesake: Crawfish.

We sat down with Luke Parrish, the current owner, where he told us they go through about 12,000 pounds of crawfish a week.

“We have a system in the kitchen,” said Parrish. “We have five boilers going non-stop and as fast as we cook them, people are eating them.”

In addition to crawfish, the Circle M menu offers other seafood varieties as well as some Texas comfort foods like Chicken Fried Steak, Grilled Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage and more. You can check out their menu here.

“We want Circle M to be like a Louisiana crawfish boil in your backyard, but indoors,” said Parrish. “We do have a few items on the menu that are kind of Texas-based, but the majority of our menu is Louisiana based.”

Circle M Crawfish really tries to capture the ‘at home’ feeling, so you’ll find the restaurant filled with long tables with open and shared seating.

“You’ll feel comfortable eating crawfish here,” said Parrish. “we have shared seating which means all of the tables are pushed together. So you will meet someone every time you come here.”

In addition to all of the tables, Circle M also has four pool tables, a jungle gym for children and an arcade with different video games.

“It’s a family restaurant and we encourage kids to come and let them run around and have a good time,” said Parrish.

The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming, and they add to the ‘at home’ experience by doing so much more than take your order.

“We encourage all of our waitresses to get to know them, get to know their names, get to know their kid’s names,” said Parrish. “They’re part of what make this place awesome.”

Circle M has live entertainment Thursday – Sunday.

Outside of the dine-in experience, one of the most unique things that Circle M Crawfish offers is a drive thru crawfish and beer barn.

“In one stop you can drive through, get your crawfish, get your shrimp and get your beer,” said Parrish. “We have girls that load the beer into your cooler, ice it down for you, and you can on your way. So we do it all without you having to get our of your truck.”

Want to skip the wait, order online.
