Girl Scouts add new flavor to cookie lineup

Girl Scout cookie season officially started on January 2nd and this year they’ve added a brand new flavor to their lineup: Caramel Chocolate Chip.

The cookie has rich caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips and a hint of sea salt. And this cookie is gluten-free!

Caramel Chocolate Chip joins Toffee-tastic as the available gluten-free options.

These cookies join the classics like Thin Mints, Caramel deLites (or Samoas), Peanut Butter Patties (or Tagalongs), Shortbread (or Trefoils), Peanut Butter Sandwiches (or Do-si-dos), Lemonades, Savannah Smiles, S’mores and Thanks-A-Lot. Learn about them all here.

The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas will start selling cookies on January 11th and unfortunately they won’t be selling the newest flavor.

But the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto (Houston Area that includes Lufkin) will. You can click here to find a council and see which cookies they will be selling.
