IHOP changes its name to IHOb

The International House of Pancakes wants to be known for something different now -- its burgers.

IHOP has been teasing breakfast lovers on social media for a week with the announcement of a name change. The restaurant stated that the change would include flipping the “P” to a lowercase “b.”

The company revealed Monday, June 11th, what the “b” stands for – it’s burgers.

The restaurants already served burgers to customers. But these are new ‘Ultimate Steakburgers,” the website stated, with “all-natural, 100 percent USDA choice black Angus beef.”

The restaurant’s Twitter bio was changed to “Burgers so burgerin’ good, we changed our name to IHOb. For burgers.”
