KFC jumps into the chicken sandwich war with what it calls the “Best Chicken Sandwich Ever.”
The new sandwich replaces the Crispy Colonel Sandwich and features a quarter pound of double breaded, extra crispy all white meat on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and mayonnaise. You can also get it with spicy sauce.
The new sandwich costs just under four bucks, or $6.99 for the combo.
KFC is joining into the chicken sandwich battle, against offerings from Popeye’s, McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-A.
The new sandwich was tested for about a year in the Orlando market. It hit select markets on Thursday, January 7, before expanding to all four thousand locations by the end of February. It isn’t yet available in the Cincinnati market, as of 1/8/2021, but you can be notified when it will be by clicking here!
