Here are some fun facts about Lynn Groom:  

  • He was born in Kaufman, Texas and raised in Mabank, Dallas, Athens and Tyler.
  • He graduated from Gorman High School in Tyler and attended TJC in Tyler and Eastfield Junior College in Dallas.
  • He began playing the piano by age 9, and is now a gifted singer, songwriter, pianist, guitar and bass player
  • He’ splayed at notable venues including the Miss Dallas Pageant, Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth, Disney World in Orlando, the World Cup Rodeo in Australia, The Shy Clown Casino in Reno, The Palomino in Hollywood, Aramco Oil Company dates in Saudi Arabia, and the wedding of Troy Aikman, former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys,
  • Other notable credits include a stint with blues guitar great Bugs Henderson, studio work with Leon Russell, Larry Mahan, Waylon Jennings and Susan Anton
  • Lynn’s cousin owned the historic Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas for 40 years.
