Pizza Hut is looking to change the delivery game by adding a beer delivery program to 1,000 locations across the nation by Summer 2019.
The pizza chain began the beer delivery program in Arizona in 2017, and they hope to be up and running in nearly 300 locations by mid-January 2019. Select stores in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, California and Arizona are on the list.
In 2018 Pizza Hut signed a multiyear agreement to be the official pizza sponsor of the NFL, so it’s no coincidence that Pizza Hut is pushing beer delivery leading up to Super Bowl LIII.
A wide variety of beers including Blue Moon, Bud Light and Corona Extra will be available for order.
All participating Pizza Hut locations will have a liquor license and employees will check ID’s when delivering pizza and beer to prevent any underage customers from purchasing the beer.
