Stanley’s Famous Pit BBQ in Tyler has proved itself as one of the best BBQ joints to ever cook a brisket. Here in the Lone Star State there are hundreds of barbecue joints, but Stanley’s is one you HAVE to try.
Stanley’s has been in Tyler for half a century. You can read about their story on their website.
Their menu has been crafted to include more items than your typical barbecue restaurant.
According to their website, they pride themselves in their creative and wide-ranging creations.
“One of our sandwiches, for instance, is quickly becoming a destination listing on all the real foodies and gastronomes (whatever that is) bucket lists. We dubbed it the Mother Clucker and let me tell you that it is not just a sandwich, it is an experience! We start with spiked and smoked chicken thigh filet and then add spicy bbq mayo, and cheddar cheese which we top with an over easy fried egg and we serve it on a toasted jalapeno cheese sourdough bun. Its perfection can be upgraded by adding our in-house made guacamole and candied bacon which is thick cut bacon dredged in our rib rub and then smoked until it caramelizes.”
In addition to the Mother Clucker, Stanley’s also serves barbecue inspired breakfast.
In addition to the food, Stanley’s also offers live music throughout different nights of the week. You can follow them on Facebook to keep up with their upcoming events.
