What better way to get in the holiday spirit than driving around East Texas and looking at Christmas Lights? Each year different parts of our state come to live to help you and your family create some magical memories. So grab your loved ones & hot cocoa and hop in your car and head to one (or all) of these Christmas Light displays!
Open Now – January 4th
Santa Land is a drive through Christmas light park in East Texas. And Santa is in Santa Land through December 23rd. He arrives at 6 p.m. every night and stays until 10 p.m.. Pictures are $10 an CDS are $35. Driving through Santa Land is $25 per car. Visit Santa Land on Facebook here.
Wonderland of Lights
Open Now – December 30th
Make your holiday magical with a trip to the 32nd Annual celebration of Marshall Texas’ famed Wonderland of Lights Festival! Millions of white lights illuminate the historic Harrison County Courthouse as downtown Marshall is transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Enjoy our outdoor ice skating rink, catch a ride on the Holly Trolley, Wonderland Express, or our beautifully restored vintage 1948 Herschel carousel. Make precious memories in Santa’s Village, a collection of tiny homes each featuring a fun, free activity; Build a train, decorate a cookie, and visit with the big guy himself!
Land of Lights Christmas Park
Open Now – January 3rd
The Christmas Park Land of Lights is a drive-thru Christmas light park located in Athens, Texas. The Christmas Park Land of Lights, family owned and operated, is a wonderland of lights, music, and holiday cheer. Stretching almost 2 miles, the park boasts over 4 millions of lights, more twinkly tunnels than one can count on a hand, lighted arches, and thousands of holiday characters longing to make your season the best it can be. $25 for family vehicles. Christmas Playland at Yesterland Farm
Open Now – December 16
Beginning November 23, admission into the farm is FREE and includes Christmas Farm Attractions! Enjoy strolling through the Christmas tree fields as you hunt for the perfect tree to serve as the center of your Christmas celebration. Shop our Dixie General Store for unique gifts and ornaments. Visit Santa in Twister Town and see our beautiful Christmas decor located at the front of the farm. This fantastic access onto the farm is complimentary so come enjoy your traditional Christmas experience with your family.
Azalea Trail of Lights
December 1st – December 31st
Take a ride through the beautiful Historic Azalea District, where
you will see the sights and sounds of Christmas from an open
air touring shuttle. Tours will depart from Goodman Museum,
624 N Broadway. $10 per person, Children 5 and under free.
