This vintage camper was transformed into a mobile bar that travels around the state serving happiness

The Cocktail Camper: Established 2016.

Michele Merryman Bell started The Cocktail Camper in April 2016. But the transformation of her vintage mobile bar started way before that.

Michele was on a girls trip in Round Top when she ran across a Barbie pink camper, and knew she had to have it. Once she towed it home and began renovating it, she and her husband realized it was completely rotted.

“Once we realized she was completely rotted, we knew we’d have to start from the ground up,” said Michele. “So that’s what we did. We peeled off all of the tin, the siding, everything, and just started over.”

It was during that process that she decided to bring her back as a bar.

“And whether we parked her in the backyard or we parked her in the backyard of other people, we just wanted to have a good time with her,” said Michele.

And that’s how The Cocktail Camper was born.

Now Michele and her husband travel all over East Texas, and other parts of the state, and park The Cocktail Camper at events and serve cocktails, wine or beer (drinks depend on the event).

“We love backyards, we’ve done some great weddings. We’ve done grand openings and we’ve also done some charities that are near and dear to our heart,” said Michele.
