Yep, you read that right. The ceramic Christmas trees from the 60’s and 70’s are making a comeback!
You may remember crafting these with your mother or grandmother back in the day, or you may recognize them from your mothers annual Christmas decorations. Well, we are happy to inform you that these iconic Christmas tress are a hot topic this Christmas season!
The popular Christmas trees became a hit back in the 40’s, but did not become popular until a few years later. During the 1990’s these antiques became almost impossible to find.
However, during the 2018 Christmas season they started making a comeback… and the same applies for the 2019 Christmas season!
You can find styles in a variety of colors, sizes, and designs. New ones are typically battery-operated while antique ones light up with a power cord. While some originals from the 70’s will cost upwards of $70, you can pick up modern versions for a lot less. You can now order these unique and beautiful trees from retailers like, Amazon and a DIY kit from Etsy

These ceramic Christmas trees don’t light up, but they sure are lovely, anyway! The smallest tree actually can light up if you add a little lightbulb kit, but it’s cute as is too!
