Even though most people put up their Christmas trees after Thanksgiving, Hallmark believes it’s never too early to shop for ornaments to hang on the tree.

Every year in mid-July the greeting card giant releases their Keepsake Ornament Premiere. On October 3, a new set of 150 ornaments hit store shelves to remind you that it may be Halloween, you can’t forget about Christmas. This year they plan to introduce hundreds of ornaments. Many of those are already on store shelves. You’ll need a 2nd or 3rd tree just to show them all.

Not only are there new Hallmark Christmas ornaments… How about an out-of-this-world tree topper!

One of the biggest items to come out this year is the Star Trek™ U.S.S. Enterprise™ Musical Tree Topper with Light. This tree topper lights up and plays music and interacts with ornaments of Star Trek characters for interactive performances.

In addition to Harry Potter, see new Hallmark Christmas ornaments from famous lines like DC Comics, Harry Potter, Hasbro and Star Wars. There’s even a Golden Girls ornament.

Wreath lovers rejoice with the new Sound-a-Light Flocked Wreath. The LED lights can be switched in to “Listen” mode that will respond to music and ambient sounds. Or watch the “Show” pre-programmed mode or “Lamp” mode which keeps the lights on.
